The story of the illustration is inspired by history:
The design of this illustration is based on the history of Kerava as a central place for circus, fairground and entertainment, which started in 1888. The male character in the picture was inspired by Kalle “Tarzan” Nyman, who once performed as a circus artist and animal trainer, and the bears in the illustration pay homage to the bears of Sariola Circus.
